Customized journeys to fill your heart’s and soul’s desires
For many New Thought Truth seekers, a visit to Sedona is a life-changing time of spiritual awakening. For those who have not yet experienced the awe-inspiring red rocks and mystical energy, the lure of Sedona may be a calling that grows stronger with each passing year. Most first-time and even seasoned visitors question where to go and what to do for the maximum Sedona experience. When knowledgeable, experienced recommendations and direction are combined with a specially designed spiritual buffet -- the soul sings.
This is the mission of Unity of Sedona Spiritual Journeys.
In response to numerous requests for Sedona-based New Thought retreats and conferences, Unity Church of Sedona has assembled a team of experienced meeting and retreat planners, travel agents, guest services directors and event coordinators to design, coordinate and execute custom programs for groups of all sizes. From securing noted speakers to coordinating guided tours to arranging lodging and banquets, our team handles every detail of your journey to meet the group’s defined criteria and expectations -- no surprises, no regrets.
Recognizing that many churches and groups would like to make the “pilgrimage” to Sedona, but would also like to set the date, theme and parameters of their journeys, Unity of Sedona Spiritual Journeys offers customized journeys, in addition to the calendar of scheduled retreats and conferences.
Among the expansive array of outdoor and indoor activities and holistic services that can be incorporated into a Spiritual Journey are guided tours to ancient archeological sites, the Grand Canyon and the Hopi mesas, as well as massages, spectacular hikes, art gallery tours and many, many more.

Designing your Spiritual Journey
Unity of Sedona Spiritual Journeys event planners work closely with churches and groups to design each journey, addressing every detail to ensure a magical and rewarding experience. Journey criteria to be defined include:
•The desired dates and length of stay. (April/May and September/October are peak tourist seasons in Sedona.);
• Budget development, including the preferred per person cost range and accommodation type/price range;
• Group size and demographics, such as age range, male/female/couples group
composition, physical exertion limitations and/or special interests;
•Desired theme or area of interest, including securing a preferred speaker and/or facilitator; and
• Desired activities and exploration/recreational opportunities.

Karen Koebnick brings more than 25 years of experience in the meeting, incentive and travel industry. As a partner in a Scottsdale, Arizona-based receptive tour and travel agency she oversaw arrangements for groups coming to Arizona from Europe, Asia and major U.S. cities. Karen coordinated complex international events, including the Porsch Boxster Premier, as well as reward incentives for many of the major pharmaceutical companies. She has organized and escorted groups to many international destinations with emphasis on spiritual renewal, inspiration, creativity and personal growth. She has also arranged tours for Biblical scholars to Israel, Greece and Turkey.
Karen has given numerous workshops on receptive travel in the U.S. and was instrumental in developing a professional tour-guide training program in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is certified by the International Tour Management Institute at UCLA Berkley, and has been a member of IATAN, CLIA, ASTA, MPI and SITE.
