with Candace McKena Caldwell, Ginny Viol, Kerry Chinn and others

Monday Evenings

7:00 – 8:30 pm (Sanctuary)

Love Offering - no one turned away

Oneness Blessing or “Deeksha” is a transfer of Divine Energy for Awakening to Oneness, letting Divine Grace and Love into your life and experiencing the Flowering of your Heart.  This transmission of energy affects the activity of the brain, causing a significant neurobiological change by quieting the parietal lobes and activating the frontal lobes.  It can bring about a change in the perception and experience of life.

A donation of $10 is requested, however, no one will be turned away.  There are chairs for sitting.  If you wish, bring a blanket and pillow for lying in shavasana after the Blessing.

Gratitude Now – A Circle of Support

Every Saturday Morning

8:00-9:00am in the Sanctuary

In accord with our ever-deepening experience of Gratitude as the fulfillment of Creative Law, Rev. Mark Pope is initiating an ongoing Sacred Circle for the purpose of supporting those who wish to experience greater and greater gratitude.  Please understand, this is not a gathering for the expression of personal issues, problems, or concerns.  This circle is devoted to holding the frequency of thanksgiving through sharing our experiences of increasing good.

Once Again, the Unity Talent Show is coming up!   On Friday, June 20th !

Transformation through Forgiveness

with Brenda Adelman and Lori Rubenstein

Thursday, May 8th

6:00-9:00pm

in the Sanctuary

$36 Donation

The peace for which your soul longs is in your reach!  If you are carrying around hurt, anger or resentment, this is the time to let it go.  In a safe environment, let these two forgiveness coaches guide you to release these emotions.  Remember, the gift of forgiveness is all about your own happiness; it is not about condoning the other person’s behavior.

Brenda Adelman's experience is steeped in the creative arts and psychology and Lori Rubenstein comes from a legal, logic-based world.  Brenda's journey to find peace and joy again began 12 years ago when her father shot and killed her mother and within months married her aunt. She is an award-winning actress and leads workshops, holds teleclasses on 'Setting Healthy Boundaries' and has a private forgiveness coaching practice. She holds a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology from The University of Santa Monica and is a trained prayer chaplain. To find out more go to www.forgivenessandfreedom.com.

Lori Rubenstein has 18 years experience as a divorce attorney and mediator and is a life coach. She has written a book to move people from pain to joy after divorce - "Transcending Divorce: A Guide for Personal Growth and Transformation" and she co-authored the best seller, "Wake Up...Live the Life You Love." Lori is the host of Sedona Talk Radio's newest show, Journeys from the Heart:...Embracing the Path Back to Love, which airs on internet radio every Wednesday morning at 8:00 am on www.sedonatalkradio.com. She conducts workshops, seminars, teleclasses and retreats. Please visit her web-sites at www.daretotranscend.com & www.transcendingdivorce.com.

Immortality and Spiritual Purification

with Leonard Orr, Founder of Rebirthing Breathwork

Friday, May 9th, 6:30-8:30pm in the Sanctuary

$12 Suggested Donation (no one turned away)

Leonard has been exposing people to the idea of physical immortality for over 30 years.  Physical immortality means victory over physical death. It means body and mind mastery. Our Spirit is already an immortal master. This simple thought of physical immortality makes us realize that although death may be popular, it is not inevitable. Physical death is optional.  The whole purpose of Jesus Christ was to teach us this.  Since Leonard’s first trip to India in 1977, he has met over 8 immortals who each have maintained their body for at least 300 years.

Leonard Orr, the founder of the American Breathwork movement, has healed his own death urge and helped thousands of others heal from their death urge as well.

Join us as Leonard shares his ideas, experiences, and the 3 basic causes of death along with the 3 things required to master death!

Jerry Ya, Healing Prayer Service

Tuesday, May 13th, 7:00–9:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Please bring a bottle of water.  Donations welcome and appreciated.

This service will include singing, chanting, breathing and praying together for the healing for Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants, for friends, family and ourselves.  Healings for ourselves in these services may be of any kind, including physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, situational, and dental; may increase your healing abilities and inspire your creativity.

While intercessionary prayers are made in the name of God, Mother Mary, and Jesus, people of all faiths and belief systems are welcome to share the Holy
Presence, Peace, and Love.  It is not necessary to be in need of healing to benefit from attending.

Jerry Ya is a massage therapist/bodyworker and holistic health educator from Southern Oregon who was blessed with a gift of healing 11 years ago in a prayer by Rev. Willard Fuller, noted for 50 years of miraculous dental healings,
which manifest in Jerry's healing services, as well.

Your Faith is Your Fortune

with Rev. Mark Pope

A 4 Week Class - Wednesday Evenings

May 14th – June 4th, 6:30-8:30pm (Sanctuary)

“Remember standing still is the deep conviction that all is well; it is done,” writes Neville in his classic, Your Faith is Your Fortune.  In this 4 week class we will adopt the consciousness that precedes all answered prayer…giving thanks, and living in appreciation that it is done.

The book is available in the bookstore.  Please have a copy and take time to read it and contemplate its meaning over the 4 week period.

Timewave 2013:  The Odyssey II

A film by Sharron Rose

Friday and Saturday, May 16th and 17th

At 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary

Tickets are $10.00 and available at Crystal Magic and Golden Word Bookstore and the Worm Bookstore in the VOC outlet mall.

During this fascinating expedition into the nature of time itself, Sharron Rose speaks to many of the world’s experts on mythology, alchemy, astrology, anthropology and ancient history; Jose Arguelles, Gregg Braden, Riane Eisler, William Henry, Jean Houston, John Major Jenkins, Rick Levine, Dennis McKenna, Terence McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck, Geoff Stray, Whitley Strieber, Alberto Villoldo and Jay Weidner. They discuss topics such as the shift of the ages, the galactic alignment, global warming, the pervasive role of the media in our lives, the secret place of refuge, the mystic work of Benjamin Franklin, renewal of the American spirit and the transformation of humanity.

Journey with Ms. Rose beyond the Georgia Guidestones, Denver Airport, Cross of Hendaye and Mayan Calendar to the Sacred Valley of Peru where we sit in ceremony with the powerful Shaman/healers of the Q’ero people and listen to their powerful prophecies for the future of humankind.

While firmly based in a rich perspective on our past history, and a new understanding of the nature of the times we live in, Timewave 2013 offers a clear, yet positive vision of what is to come.

Opportunities to Be God's

in Action!

  • Hospitality Volunteers – new shift in this service!  FYI, our hospitality coordinator now sets up the tables, tablecloths & condiments for coffee and tea the night before Sunday service, and we have a lovely lady who cleans up after the 2nd service , so volunteering is much easier now and does not include cleanup!  Our time in fellowship is a significant component of Sunday services.  Would you like to volunteer to provide refreshments for a service?  You can also designate your service in  honor of a special occasion.  The sign up sheet is in Friendship Hall.  If you cannot provide refreshments, it is perfectly acceptable to just prepare a platter of cheese and crackers and cookies, which are always on hand.
  • Ushers and Greeters – your consideration of this service is greatly appreciated and very much needed: If you would like to assist with our Sunday services as an usher or greeter, please call Nancy Haimbaugh, at (847) 254-0442 or email her at sedonabrad@hotmail.com.  Volunteers in this area generally serve one service only and on only one Sunday per month.
  • Bookstore Volunteers:  Please contact Jennifer Taron at 284-5015 or email her at jl_taron@yahoo.com to volunteer in our bookstore.  We presently need several more people in this area.
  • Office/Errand Assistance:  If you would like to help with small projects like dropping off our rack cards to the chamber and a few other locations, or watering plants once a week, please call Samara in the church office at 282-7181.

Thank you for volunteering! You and your service to the church, in whatever way supports you, is so very appreciated!

A showering of Grace unto you…Rev. Mark

Alice Bridges is unable to drive and would greatly appreciate any assistance getting to and from Sunday services at Unity, as well as the Adult Community Center, in West Sedona, any day of the week someone might be free to give her a ride.  The Adult Community Center is open Monday - Friday; and she hopes to go to the center around 11:15am and return home around 1:30pm - these times are of course flexible.  Alice lives in the Chapel area and her phone number is 928-282-9768.  You may also contact her daughter, Lois Bridges at 650-941-0606 or 650-941-0303 or email loisbridges@earthlink.net for further details.  Lois says they are, of course, happy to pay for both the gas and the assistance and would be deeply grateful for any assistance one might provide.
